About Naver U.Hub
NAVER U.Hub is the U.S. subsidiary of NAVER, a global internet technology company based in Los Angeles with offices in Seattle and Redwood City. Our teams across Naver Search US, BAND, ThingsBook, and Naver Ventures collaborate to advance AI, social media, and investment initiatives that build smarter and more connected experiences for global users.

Overview
At BAND, we sponsor and collaborate with diverse channels—including brands, media/influencers, organizations, events, professional groups, users, and more—to expand our reach and attract new customers.
We also operate a top-ranking, free group communication app that helps teams and communities stay connected, organized, and achieve more together. From sports teams and school organizations to businesses, hobby groups, and faith communities, BAND gives every group one space to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively.

About the Role
BAND, a leading group communication platform, is looking for a Growth Marketing Lead who can build new growth engines in emerging adult-focused segments—including faith communities, workplaces, franchise operators, and sports organizations—and turn early traction into scalable acquisition systems.
This role is not about incremental optimization. It is about identifying high-leverage growth channels, validating them quickly, and scaling what works.
You will own user acquisition across emerging segments by combining strategic partnerships, grassroots community expansion, inbound and outbound marketing, performance marketing, and product-led growth. You will operate at both strategic and tactical levels —translating insights into rapid experimentation, repeatable growth playbooks, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

New Market Growth Strategy

  • Define ICPs and segment-specific growth hypotheses across new verticals
  • Build full-funnel acquisition strategies (awareness → activation → retention → referral
  • Identify high-leverage growth channels and develop scalable go-to-market playbooks
  • Design expansion strategies tailored to community-led and group-based adoption

Scalable Acquisition Engines

  • Build and scale acquisition engines across paid, organic, partnership, and community channels
  • Develop referral and viral loops suited for group-based products
  • Design grassroots expansion programs (community ambassadors, evangelists, partnerships)
  • Explore sales-assisted growth where relevant (multi-location operators, organizations
  • Develop, launch, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across channels (Meta, Google, etc.) in collaboration with the marketing team to drive user acquisition.

Experimentation & Analytics

  • Implement a rapid test–learn–scale experimentation framework
  • Run structured growth experiments across paid, organic, and product surfaces
  • Build attribution clarity in multi-touch, community-driven acquisition funnels
  • Translate insights into repeatable growth playbooks
  • Own core growth metrics including user acquisition, CAC, and activation

Team & Execution

  • Build and mentor a high-performing growth team over time
  • Establish dashboards, experimentation cadence, and growth operating systems
  • Allocate resources dynamically toward the highest ROI growth levers
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Sales

What Success Looks Like

  • Repeatable acquisition playbooks for new adult market segments
  • Strong community-driven and product-led growth loops
  • Measurable network effects within key target segments
  • Sustainable growth increasingly driven by organic, referral, and community channels
  • Improving CAC through scalable and diversified acquisition channels
  • Influence cross-functional initiatives and decisions
  • Lead complex projects that impact multiple teams
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and execution capabilities

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in growth marketing, user acquisition, or performance marketing
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling new growth channels or markets from 0 → meaningful scale
  • Experience growing community-driven, marketplace, or network-effect products preferred
  • Experience building partnership-driven or grassroots growth programs
  • Deep analytical fluency including cohort analysis, funnel modeling, and attribution
  • Experience in paid acquisition and conversion optimization
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on execution levels
  • High experimentation velocity mindset: test fast, learn fast, scale what works
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and ownership-heavy environments

Other

  • Job type: Full-time
  • Hybrid
  • Pay: $136,000 - $170,000 per year
  • Candidates who pass the initial HR screening will be invited to complete a brief take-home assignment.
